This page explains what personal data may be collected through ioancaraian.ro, what it is used for and what rights you have. We only use the data we need in order to reply to you and to manage declared contributions.
Who is responsible for the data

What data we collect and why

Please do not send us personal identification numbers, copies of identity documents, card details or medical data through forms, e-mail or WhatsApp.
Services we use
- Cloudflare hosts and protects the website and provides visitor statistics (Cloudflare Web Analytics), which do not use cookies and do not track visitors across websites.
- FormSubmit forwards form submissions to our e-mail addresses. The service states that submissions are kept for 30 days.
- Zoho Mail hosts the @ioancaraian.ro e-mail addresses.
The website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Links to Facebook, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, Amazon or other external websites lead to services with their own privacy policies.
How long we keep data
We keep messages for as long as needed to reply and for any collaboration that follows. Data related to contributions and donations is kept for the period required by the legal and accounting obligations that apply to the association. After that, the data is deleted or anonymised.
Your rights
You have the right to request access to your data, its rectification or erasure, restriction of processing and data portability, and to object to processing. You can withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting processing carried out before. For any request, write to the contact address above that matches your situation.
If you believe your data is not being processed correctly, you can lodge a complaint with the Romanian data protection authority (ANSPDCP), dataprotection.ro ↗, or with the supervisory authority in your country.
Changes
We may update this policy when the services we use or the way we work change. The date of the last update is shown at the top of the page.
